1. Screw Conveyor Introduction:
LS type screw conveyor is designed in accordance with the JB/T679-95 “screw conveyor”standard. It is a new generation based on GX type screw conveyor.
Sliding bearing is used as the suspension bearing, and there is no dust-proof sealing device on the LS type screw conveyor. Generally, powder metallurgy is adopted as the bearing bush, while for cement conveying the bearing bush is felt.
Sliding block is used to connect the hanger shaft and the screw shaft, so that there is no need moving the drive when disassembling the conveyor, and no need moving the screw when disassembling the suspension bearing, beside of which the suspension bearing can get lubricated without the movement of the covering plate.
The screw conveyor is of high reliability, long working-life, and strong adaptability and it is easy to install and repair.
LS screw conveyor is made of driving device,screw blades,housing,rack and bearing.
The driving device includes motor and reducer.Bearings includes ends bearings and middle bearing.It is widely used in grain,builing material,chemical,mechanical and transprotation industry etc.

4. Working Principle
When shaft rotates,due to gravity and resistance between material and conveyor wall,material is driven towards the outlet under the propelling of the screw blades.
Material just moves farward along the trough rather than rotates together with the screw blades.
5. Applicable material
LS screw conveyor has been widely used in various lines such as construction material, metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, coal, machinery, light industry, and food industry. It is suitable for conveying powder, granulated and small lump materials, such as cement,coal, grain, chemical fertilizer, ash, sand, coke, etc. It is not suitable to transport perishable materials and materials having big viscosity.
Food industry:grain,beans,flour etc.
Building material:sand,clay,cement etc.
Chemical industry: salt,alkali,fertilizer etc.
Mineral industry: Coal,coke and ore etc.
